Payroll

Payroll is part of the app, not a separate product. Your people have roles; a role carries the salary and the standard benefits, and any employee can have their own overrides.

Each month, run the payroll and preview it before you save. The wage costs, the wage tax withheld, the AZV and AOV shares, and the amounts still to pay are posted to the journal the moment the run is saved. The payroll tax report and the yearly overview per employee follow from the same entries, so come tax time there is nothing to reconstruct.
